Welcome to City Church

City Church was started in 1997 when a team of thirty people moved to Bristol and began meeting in a pub on Gloucester Road.

We gather to worship in a lively environment of the Holy Spirit's presence, and receive in-depth and practical Bible teaching. We have a developing work into schools as well as a fun social programme.

We also run Alpha, an introduction to the Christian faith for anyone who wants to explore some of the big issues of life in an informal setting.

As we become more multi-national and multi-age as a church, we are able to provide the following services on Sunday mornings:

We look forward to meeting you soon.

small groups

The heart of all we are doing as a church is worked out in our small groups - communities of Christians who are trying to live out what it means to follow Jesus Christ in the 21st Century.

This is expressed through gathering to pray, worship, eat meals, apply the teaching of the Bible and tell other people the good news of Jesus.

Contact the church office to find details of small groups meeting near you.
