Alpha is for anyone who is curious to explore the big questions of life. It's a series of ten sessions that explore the basics of the Christian faith.
At Alpha, everyone's opinion matters. There's no pressure to say anything, and there's nothing you can't say.

How does Alpha work?
Each week, we'll watch an episode of the Alpha Film series together. This is a series that explores the basics of the Christian faith and how it relates to life today. It serves up lots of thought provoking ideas.
Then it’s over to you. Our team will serve up some thought provoking questions and everyone has a chance to share their ideas and listen to the thoughts of others. You can ask any question you want - nothing is out of bounds. On Alpha it's all about listening to one another. There's no pressure, and no follow-up.

SIAN’S STORY
The Alpha course is how I found my way to God. I was invited along by a friend and I was interested to hear what actually happened at church and why people chose this faith. The discussion was open, honest and I felt comfortable asking all sorts of questions. After the course ended I joined City Church and after 15 years I am still remarkably grateful for that invitation to explore Christianity.
Nathan’s Story
Nathan was invited to Alpha by his house mates, and after exploring Christianity he decided to make the decision to follow Jesus. This is his story.
