Around this time each year, we take an opportunity as a church to look back with gratitude and look ahead with faith. When we look back over the story of City Church, there is so much for which we can thank God. Whether its people coming to faith, congregations strengthening, the building purchase and subsequent gift days. It has been a year where we have prayed, given, served, taken steps of faith together and seen God's hand with us.

We’re delighted to share another encouraging update on our Stokes Croft building project. Thank you so much for continuing to pray, give and believe with us as we seek to establish a permanent home that will serve the mission of City Church for generations to come.

Before sharing an update on the purchase of 21–23 Stokes Croft, it would be remiss of me not to pause and celebrate what an extraordinary week of prayer we’ve just experienced.

“These Are The Glory Days” has become a bit of slogan for me this year.  I meet with a couple of friends from church regularly to get into the deep stuff and pray and we refer to it regularly.
