SERVING BRISTOL THIS CHRISTMAS
Christmas is a time when we are reminded of the kindness and love God showed in coming to Earth as a baby. This year we have three ways we that we can show kindness, love and generosity to those who are vulnerable, alone and hurting.
For details on how to get involved please see below.
Streetlife Christmas Meal provides a safe place where vulnerable people can enjoy great food, have fun and receive prayer if they’d like. We’re providing Christmas stockings filled with presents to give out.
Sixty-One is a Bristol-based charity that works in prisoners and with ex-offenders through the ‘Mentor Me’ scheme. We’re partnering with several churches in the city to provide 1400 gifts for prisoners across the city, including handwritten Christmas cards.
Beloved is a Christian charity offering support to vulnerable women in Bristol and the surrounding areas. We will provide jewellery to 110 women, which will be distributed with a handwritten Christmas card to each individual.
