Welcome to Bristol

We’re City Students. A group of students who want to know Jesus more and make Him known across Bristol and beyond. Whether you’re here for a term, an academic year or longer, we would love to welcome you into our church family.

While City Church meets at three different sites across the city, City Students gathers students from all across the city into one community. We meet at Boston Tea Party on Whiteladies Road every Tuesday evening.

What can you expect when you come to a City Students meeting? Well, we love community, coffee (or tea!) and Jesus. Our Tuesday evening meetings include reading the Bible and discussing our thoughts and questions in small groups, or listening to a longer talk about the Bible and how it impacts us. Our meetings also include time for prayer, games and singing together (which is one way we love to worship God and tell Him that we love Him). 

The fun doesn’t stop there! We encourage each of the students who meet with us to get stuck into the wider church family. This means coming along to Sunday morning meetings at one of our three sites. We know that being away from home can feel daunting at times, or maybe even lonely, so this is another way to find a home-away-from-home with people of all ages. (While City Church meets across three sites, most of our students gather at our Cotham site as this is the closest site to the city centre, but you’ll be warmly welcomed to whichever site you visit!)
